Ocellularia auberiana (Mont.) Zahlbr.
Papua New Guinea, leg. P. Lambley, BM 17452.
Growing on the lower part of tree trunks in lowland forest, in rather light situations; distribution pantropical.
This species is unusual, because the centre of the hymenium forms sterile, carbonized ridges (columellae).

Ocellularia perforata (Leight.) Müll. Arg.
Papua New Guinea, near Lae, leg. H. Sipman 24552 (B).
Usually growing on the lower part of tree trunks in lowland forest, in rather light situations; distribution pantropical.
In this species the columellae are reduced to single, small cones, which may even be absent.

Ocellularia meiosperma (Nyl.) Hale
Papua New Guinea, near Wau, leg. H. Sipman 15728 (U).
Often growing on lower canopy branches in lowland forest, in rather light situations; distribution pantropical.
In this species the columellae fill most of the ascomata and are white-pruinose on top; the hymenium is reduced to a narrow
ring between the columella and the carbonized excipulum.
