 ARRIVAL

You can arrive in Belgrade by plane, train, bus or car. The air traffic connects Belgrade to most world cities. Many air traffic companies have daily flights to Surčin airport, about 20 km from Belgrade. Several international trains arrive daily at the Main Railway Station (Glavna Železnička Stanica), which is situated in the city centre, next to the Belgrade Bus Station also running national and international lines. For those travelling by car, Belgrade is accessible by highway, from the north via Subotica, from the south and east via Niš, and from the west via Ljubljana and Zagreb.

Belgrade’s climate is temperate-continental, but with a significant influence of Atlantic and somewhat weaker of Mediterranean climate. September in Belgrade is generally pleasant, warm and with little rain. The days are mostly sunny, with temperatures varying between 16 and 25°C, while the evenings and nights are pleasantly cool.
