'Flora On-line' and the Flora of China Database

"Flora On-line" is a web interface to a flora database designed for the "Flora of China" project. This interface allows users to browse information by families and genera. The database can be searched by taxonomic name, elevation, province, and bordering countries. It also links to many other online databases dynamically.

"Flora On-line" can be used for other flora projects. Data are stored in the same database, retrieved by the same program with customized interfaces. Other floristics-related objects (images, PDF files) can also be included in the database.
